Victory Brand Top Dog in Satisfaction Index, Again.

Posted: 02 May 2011 05:05 PM PDT

The Victory Motorcycle brand from Polaris Industries, Inc. maintained its top ranking in the newly released 2011 Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index® (PSI®) U.S. Motorcycle Industry Benchmarking Study. Harley-Davidson finished second, while Ducati and Triumph tied for third, followed by BMW and Yamaha, all of which scored above the industry average. 2011 marked the fifth year for the independent Pied Piper PSI benchmarking study, which sent 1,967 hired anonymous "mystery shoppers" into motorcycle dealerships nationwide. The study measured how effectively each brand's dealerships helped motorcycle shoppers become motorcycle buyers.

Victory defended its top ranking despite a lower PSI score compared to the previous year. Overall motorcycle industry performance also declined across a majority of the sales process activities tracked by the study, which led to lower PSI scores for thirteen of the fourteen major motorcycle brands. For a copy of the complete press release go to HERE:

Speed Caps from Pandemonium

Posted: 02 May 2011 08:22 AM PDT

When we first met Daniel Donley of Pandemonium Customs Choppers (out of Defiance Ohio) at a rally in WV a few years back we were immediately struck by his intense drive to build some killer bikes and his passion for fabrication.  And also, he knew what was needed to succeed in this business.  Part of Daniel’s success is his fabrication skills.  Over the past few years Daniel has built us a few tanks and oil bag set ups and we’ve never seen anything close to matching it’s quality.  Well, Daniel’s at it again with a new piece, a unique Speed Cap Assembly which is made from 3041 Stainless Steel.  While the cap is NON-vented, it can be used on any gas tank as long as it vented internally.  And if your not wanting to do the welding or fabrication yourself, just send your own tank to Daniel and he’ll be glad to modify it for you.  Check Pandemonium out HERE or call 419-576-6812.

Billet Running Boards From Pearson Customs

Posted: 02 May 2011 08:10 AM PDT

Chad Pearson is one of those guys that just knows what people like and just as important, knows how to deliver.  He’s not only a fabricator with a long pedigree of experience (third generation machinist) and skills that dwarf most others, he’s a genuine nice guy.  Matter of fact Chad is the guy we at Guilty go to for our front ends (check out the one’s he did for our latest build with brass fittings!), but also the go to guy for prototypes we’re bouncing around.  So it was no surprise when we saw Chad’s newest creation, some radical billet floor boards to throw on your bagger (or other type builds).  These beauties are machined out of aluminum and are one-piece with mounts included. They’ve got some inspiration from BMW pegs, don’t ya think? So, they will require the use of new hardware, which is included with the kit. You can order them raw machined or polished finish. Go to chads website at Pearson Customs to order or call Chad directly at: 952-237-6261

BTW, Chad’s the guy that’s doing our own custom built running boards for our BMW build.  Check for later posting to see what we’re up to!
