Ironhead Sportster Tune-up and Service

Posted: 06 May 2011 02:24 PM PDT

Anyone that’s ridden old sportsters knows one thing….they will more than likely break down at an inopportune time.  Thus knowing how to do preventative as well as necessary maintenance is important.  So, check out this new workshop manual and DVD.  Lowbrow Customs and Four Aces Cycle, chopper guru Frank Kaisler takes you through the care and service of Harley-Davidson’s popular but sometimes troublesome Ironhead Sportster engine. Applying four decades of motorcycle experience, Frank shares the tips and tricks that served him so well as editor of Easyriders magazine in the 1970′s. Every aspect of engine tune and service is covered in this video: fluids, valve train, ignition, timing, fuel system, electrical. Follow Frank’s tips and tricks and you’ll build the skills you need to resurrect that old project with confidence. Well worth the money spent. You can go HERE to order.

Jesse on Jesse

I guess with every life there is a story.  Some are less/more exciting than others.  Some are bizarre and some are just sad. Either way, they are stories and just like belly buttons…everyone has one.  And we as fellow citizens like to hear/read about them, regardless of their value.  Are we just junkies for pain, heartache or pulling for the underdog?  Not sure even about myself, but we continue to be drawn into the lives of the rich and famous (infamous). So with that, Jesse James is hitting the pavement and airwaves with his “tell all” (hmm, really), book that is supposed to tell it all about his “crazy life, an wild ride, from a volatile upbringing to becoming a successful motorcycle builder, then a TV personality, his 3 failed marriages and eventually finding salvation in the joy of fatherhood". Supposedly we’ll even get the inside scoop on why he closed WCC, moved to Austin in order to “make his world smaller“. We’ll withhold judgement on the book until after we get a copy in our hands.  However, you can order his book HERE. And if your a Facebook junkie, check out his page for dates of his book tour.  Self promotion is good these day, huh?
